Global Challenge Team JPM Komagata Ryo is doing great!

YouMeWe.Team.Photo.Global.Challenge.jpg

Global Challenge Team JPM Komagata Ryo is doing great! Our team of 7 come from various backgrounds and fitness levels but the challenge seems to be a great motivator for us all in different ways. 5 of our members are in Japan and 2 in Bali, Indonesia. Distance makes it difficult to get together as a team but technology allows us to communicate, encourage each other and make the most of this challenge. It’s been wonderful to have people step up and contribute their time to help the team by setting up group calls, organizing and creating a team photo and keeping each other motivated and up to date on challenges and information.

2 of our teammates work at an orphanage and clock their steps chasing after the children all day. 1 has found it inspiring to get out daily to make sure he gets his 10K steps and another has gone from couch to marathon walker to make sure he stays at the top while engaging for the first time in social media via the community. Our top teammate in kilometers logged, commutes to work, walks around his neighborhood, gets to the gym for weights and does some extra cycling or jogging to top it off. Our teammate who brought us all together generally gets his steps in his daily activities in the office, chasing his 5 year old around and working up a sweat on his stationary bike in the evenings. I love my long walks on the beach or around our neighborhood and nearby rice fields, a few laps in the pool, dancing around the house, a bit of yoga and generally moving about in day to day activities.

All in all, although we are not all together, we are finding way to make the most of this challenge while having fun and using the competitive nature in us to grow, learn and enjoy the benefits of better health and wellness.

Thank you, YouMeWe for allowing us all to be a part of this with you. We are still trying to figure out how one is able to get 50 to over 100 thousand steps in a day, but there is still time.

Best regards,
Tricia Hedden

Japan's 30,000 hidden assets

We detest the phrase “Throwaway children” We see the children that YouMeWe supports as an asset which we are happy to continue to support and invest in their futures. Their futures will help the country as we struggle with more people over 65 years old per capita and less under 15 years old per capita.

Thank you Eire Systems for your generous donation!

Thank you again this year for supporting the 2020 KIWL 500km bike ride ending in Sendai.

EIRE Systems is a leading independent provider of professional IT services to the financial, insurance and multinational sectors in Japan and throughout the Asia Pacific region. EIRE Systems has expertise across a wide spectrum of Information Technologies, with a track record for successfully completing hundreds of assignments since its establishment in 1996.

We provide professional IT services, both project-based and ongoing operational support, in two main areas:

  1. IT Services

  2. Project Management

With offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, EIRE Systems is in a position to provide local, regional, and global IT strategy and technology solutions to its multinational clients.

The EIRE Systems Story

The EIRE Systems Story began with a business partnership between two IT consultants, Matthew Connolly and Paul Timmons, who had a few things in common. Both are originally from Dublin, Ireland and they each first came to Japan as graduates to work at major Japanese technology companies; more importantly they also shared a common interest in the rapidly developing information technology sector and a common goal to establish a company of their own to provide better IT Solutions to the increasingly internationalized Japan market.

Matthew and Paul continued to develop their own professional skills and quickly established themselves as leading independent IT Project Management Consultants, mostly for the Financial Services industry. As EIRE Systems has grown, the company has been very successful in winning and consistently delivering on increasingly more complex and high-profile projects, as a result the business has expanded to provide a wider range of IT Support, Project Management, Consulting and Outsourcing Services to Multinational and internationalized corporate clients across various industries and business sectors.

EIRE Systems’ growth has been mostly organic, and since its inception has expanded to 200 professionals across four office locations including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai, with proven ability to deliver throughout the Asia Pacific region. The common goals that lead to the creation of EIRE Systems remain the same today as we continue to strive to grow our business to better meet our clients’ requirements and to provide ongoing opportunities and career development for our employees.

Families and teachers everywhere trust Common Sense for expert reviews, objective advice, helpful tools, and so much more.

Your trusted guide for a fast-changing world.
Media and technology are at the center of kids' lives every day. From a very young age, kids use technology at home and at school to connect with friends and family and to document their lives and create digital content of their own. With more and more of life happening online, what catches kids' attention isn't always what's best for them, and what companies do with their personal information isn't always clear.

Independent. Nonprofit. Research backed.
Since 2003, Common Sense has been the leading source of entertainment and technology recommendations for families and schools. Every day, millions of parents and educators trust Common Sense reviews and advice to help them navigate the digital world with their kids. Together with policymakers, industry leaders, and global media partners, we're building a digital world that works better for all kids, their families, and their communities.
