When our champions leave the orphanage, our work does not end.

At YouMeWe, mentors continue walking with mentees and scholars through their first year of higher education. That means weekly check-ins and a commitment of 5 hours a month, helping with real life things like furnishing an apartment, planning a 4-year budget for tuition and living costs, learning how to make a quick meal, or speaking up when someone takes advantage of them.

We do not say goodbye. They become part of Empower Village, a steady home they can always come back to.
