Do you know what CPU stands for? This week, the children at St. Francis were introduced to the fundamentals of computers and the Windows OS.
During the session, the children learned about the basic components that make up a computer, including the CPU (Central Processing Unit), GPU, storage, and cooling systems, and explored how different hardware components work together to keep a computer running.
The children also gained practical experience navigating Windows, learning useful keyboard shortcuts to make everyday computer tasks easier. We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to share their skills and knowledge. If you are interested in volunteering or hosting a learning session, please get in touch: https://youmewenpo.org/how-to-volunteer
