TOKYO Yamathon 2026
What an incredible day at Tokyo Yamathon 2026!
This past Saturday, October 17, YouMeWe had the wonderful opportunity to participate in Tokyo Yamathon as one of this year's Community Impact Partners, and what an experience it was!
For those unfamiliar, Tokyo Yamathon is an annual charity walking challenge organized by the International Volunteer Group (IVG Japan). Teams come together to take on 10 km, 21 km, or the full 42 km around Tokyo's iconic Yamanote Line, all while raising awareness and support for organizations making a difference in their communities.
We couldn't have been more impressed by the determination, enthusiasm, and incredible spirit of everyone who participated! To all the walkers, runners, and teams who challenged themselves this year, congratulations! Whether you completed 10 km or went the full distance, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. We certainly are!
One of our favorite parts of the day was seeing so many people, organizations, volunteers, and vendors come together for a shared purpose. It was such a pleasure connecting with fellow community organizations, meeting participants, and being surrounded by people who genuinely care about giving back.
A huge thank-you to IVG Japan and the entire Tokyo Yamathon organizing team for welcoming YouMeWe and allowing us to be part of such an amazing event. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and stand alongside so many others working to create positive change.
And to all the fellow organizations, vendors, volunteers, and supporters who helped bring the day to life, thank you for making it such a memorable experience! Events like this remind us just how powerful a community can be when people show up for one another.
Here's to every step taken, every connection made, and the difference we can create together!
